An oil painting I did for the March Monster Madness competition at www.theillustrationboard.com. I finished this a couple months ago, but just got around to doing some digital touch ups so I could put it in my portfolio. This is the largest oil painted illustration I have ever done and was a big challenge and was a lot of fun. I wouldn't mind doing some more Godzilla illustrations for fun. Obviously Phil Hale was a big influence for the piece.

Right now the forum is close nit, but we are trying to expand it and would love to see more people with different backgrounds posting up there.

Skull and Sea Life
Another skull painting and some sketches from the aquarium. For this painting I decided to go for a pick out approach. While I like how the skull came out, I feel though at process itself was difficult. I haven't done a pick out in years though. I am thinking about starting my paintings more thinly going for a more Frazetta feel first, then painting opaquely on top.

Discover A Muse
Haven't posted in awhile, been pretty busy. Here is a piece I did for Discover A Muse challenge hosted by Jon Schindehette. We have to create an image of Veronika Kotlajic, who was the muse for the project. I had several ideas before I finally went with what I did. For this piece I wanted to create something along the lines of Oneechanbara, but make it more westernized. So I made her into a sexy nun zombie slayer.
